Avid sailer and camper, was extremely excited to get the pro pack for myself and a friend. The product does heat up a lot quicker than expected and the bag that comes with the Pro Pack is a must-have. However, on first open, we noticed various scratches and bits of glue on the glass and reflectors panels which took a bit of wind out of our sails. It also looks like a small coin sized patch of the inner film(?) has not bonded. When trying out the cooking sticks, the corners that were welded onto the caps stuck out slightly, creating a notable hard edge which I think will result in internal scratches of the glass after many uses. Reading that these sometimes shatter, and seeing scratches from day 0, it’s a little disappointing to see GoSun drop the ball in the last few yards. That said, I’d recommend this product, so long as the buster has ample time to check for defects and clean up any little details that may hinder the life of this product.
Not overcooked and not dry. Thought I would try something simple to start with. Cut up carrots and sweet potatoes. Started it at 4:00 PM with a low sun angle. Figured an hour. Forgot about it as I was preparing other items inside. Pulled it at 5:30 figuring it was done but dry. Well I was wrong. Cooked excellent. Added this as a side to the meat and gravy over rice. Will now try other dishes. Wife says this is a real prepper item. Cook with no fuel, no smoke, no smell outside.
