Isn't every day is a good day to brunch? This French Toast makes for an easy and filling recipe, perfect for late weekend mornings. The mild cooking profile of both GoSun ovens keeps the dish moist, rich and hot until ready to be served.
Walnut-Cranberry French Toast
Line the GoSun Sport or Grill tray with parchment paper or foil. If using the GoSun Grill, begin preheating to #3. Spray lightly with canola or coconut oil. Slice bread in 1 inch wide strips. In a bowl, whisk eggs and incorporate spice blend and milk. Beat until well mixed. Dip bread and coat well with egg mix. Layer the pan with bread and add chopped nuts on top. Insert in stove and cook for 25-30 minutes. If using a food thermometer, an internal temperature of 165°F indicates close to finished.
